Mr. McDavid has over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining NuVista Energy Ltd., he held exploitation and production engineering positions with Bonavista Petroleum Ltd. and Renaissance Energy Ltd.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists & Geophysicists of Alberta.
